Individual ideas
- haunting in Connecticut: a realistic horrific storyline that links to the history of the house and has terrifying affects to the next owners.
- Insidious: 'the Further' the idea of a sinister limbo area where characters become stuck in
- nightmare on elm street: where the victim is accessible through their dreams/sleeping.
- the woman in black: the use of low key lighting to build suspense for the audience in a old fashioned style (Victorian) haunted house.
- Friday 13th : masked/hidden identity of the killer
- insidious: disturbing music which doesn't fit the scene
- the sixth sense: where the main part of the storyline is revealed at the end to shock the audience .
Target audience: my target audience is 15, therefore it will not target my audience as much as other age certificates , for example if it was 18 it would limit all the under 18s to not watch the clip
Opening sequence: their will be a close up of the group of girls and their will be heavy breathing noises
Characters: a young girl and her house mates who recently moved in, killer is unknown.
Conventions: blonde female victim, killers hidden identity, disturbing music
Mise-En-Scene: (high key lighting) in a shopping centre.
Narrative idea: point of view of the victims as it will make the audience feel more involved with what is happening and therefore build more suspense.
Plot: killer can only access and hurt the victim through her dreams (the nightmare on elm street) but the victim doesn't realize its not just a dream and why the killer is after her until the end
